Who Are the Best Video Game Icons?

Video games culture has never made a family name of its designers, manufacturers or Directors.  A renowned name is warranted by a few genuinely game defining work.  The list of these industry players is endless but the limelight always goes to the character that's been created in the movie game.

Console game designers have shifted the actual characters over time.  This can be done with advancing technologies.  What is good is that the artists have aimed to preserve the iconography while making the stars of the games more three -dimensional.  Who's your favorite sports icon?  Just how a lot of them can you recall?

Pac-man 1980 Once a `king of the arcade and initially called Puck man.  A yellow munching machine that seemed like a Pizza using a missing piece.

 Sonic was all about something, Speed.

Lara Croft 2001 England's favorite pistol shooting treasure hunter.  The top hefty original was turned into an elegantly athletic model.

Console makers are also connected by Mascot characters.  Nintendo has Mario that has starred in well over a hundred games.  His first appearance was at the stage game Donkey Kong in 1980. 

Provided that new games console games are being invented, more iconic characters will appear.
